It’s a new year and the events and circumstances that make up your life may be changing as quickly as the calendar is changing. It could be that you are finding it difficult to change with your life! Stumbling and bumbling around trying to fit your self into a relationship that has proven it’s not going to change is a useless pursuit. Trying to exert pressure and control in another person’s life to make them change just doesn’t work. Instead, we need to see ourselves as volunteers in our relationships — not prisoners.
